Bitwise Asset Management will become investment manager of USCC on June 1, taking over Superstate's tokenized crypto carry fund in a move that looks more like infrastructure handoff than a new product launch.

Superstate said the fund will be renamed the Bitwise Crypto Carry Fund, while its FundOS platform will continue handling onchain issuance, transfers, and recordkeeping. That separation matters. Instead of one firm both managing portfolio strategy and operating the tokenization stack, the arrangement starts to look more like modular fund plumbing: one manager, another provider running the rails.

USCC is not a generic crypto wrapper. Superstate's documentation says the private fund is offered to qualified purchasers under Reg D and structured as a series of Superstate Asset Trust. It invests in cash-and-carry basis trades, staking, and U.S. Treasury securities, with shares issued as tokens on Ethereum, Solana, and Plume or held in book-entry form.

The most conservative read is that the exact asset total is less important than the operating model. Superstate's announcement described USCC as a $260 million-plus fund, while RWA.xyz showed about $224.6 million at publication time. Even with that discrepancy, the core fact is clear: a nine-figure tokenized fund is changing managers without leaving its onchain infrastructure behind.

That makes this one of the cleaner signs yet that tokenized funds are maturing from one-off experiments into reusable financial software.
