Virtuals Says XMAQUINA Robotics Token Is Live
Virtuals Protocol says XMAQUINA's DEUS robotics token is now live, adding another attempt to link AI-agent launch mechanics with real-world robotics exposure.
The launch post frames XMAQUINA as a DAO treasury with exposure across robotics companies including Apptronik, 1X Technologies, NEURA Robotics, Figure AI, Agility Robotics, Robotico, and Sanctuary AI. XMAQUINA's own site describes the project as a Web3 ecosystem for access to humanoid robotics and physical AI, while its robotics-token page says DEUS powers a self-sustaining ecosystem tied to companies building in the sector.
The notable part is not that another token has launched. It is the specific packaging: a robotics-focused treasury, governance layer, and token incentive system presented as a way for retail crypto users to participate in a private-market category that has usually been reserved for venture capital and strategic investors.
That framing still needs careful reading. The public materials describe exposure and DAO participation, but they do not turn token holders into direct shareholders of the named robotics companies. The practical value of DEUS will depend on what assets the DAO actually controls, how treasury decisions are governed, and whether the project can make its robotics exposure transparent over time.
For Virtuals, the launch extends its agent-token marketplace into physical AI, a category where the line between useful coordination tooling and speculative packaging will be especially important.
