The practical update is about access and integration rather than a new model launch from Vercel. AI Gateway is Vercel's abstraction for calling models through one endpoint, with shared controls for routing, usage tracking, observability, retries, and fallback behavior. Adding Kimi K2.7 Code means teams already using that layer can test another coding model without replacing their model access plumbing.
