BitMine Says ETH Holdings Reached 5.90M Tokens
BitMine Immersion Technologies said its Ethereum treasury reached 5,901,112 ETH as of Aug. 30, lifting the company to about 4.9% of the total ETH supply it cites at 120.7 million tokens.
The update keeps BitMine close to its stated "Alchemy of 5%" target, under which the company aims to hold 5% of all ETH. BitMine said the latest balance put it 98% of the way to that goal roughly 15 months after starting the strategy.
The company valued its ETH at $2,511 per token, using a Coinbase reference price, and reported total crypto, cash and marketable securities of about $15.6 billion. Its other disclosed holdings included 211 BTC, stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings, and additional cash and marketable securities.
Secondary reports said the weekly increase represented a purchase of 53,501 ETH, BitMine's largest weekly ether acquisition since June. The company release did not frame the week in those terms, so the more conservative verified figure is the closing balance reported by BitMine.
The significance is concentration rather than trading commentary. BitMine is now close enough to its 5% ETH supply goal that each weekly update matters for discussions about public-market exposure to Ethereum, treasury-driven demand, and the role large corporate holders may play in staking and liquidity.
