Meta Expands Muse to Small Businesses With Software Connectors
Meta launched Muse for Small Business on September 29, adding business-focused skills and connectors to its personal AI agent. The update extends Muse beyond individual tasks into the software owners use for sales, operations and marketing.
Meta says Muse can connect to Instagram professional-account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts. It can also work with external services, using information from a business’s storefront, customer records and other tools to provide context for tasks.
TechCrunch reports that integrations include Shopify, Dropbox and Slack, alongside services such as Asana, Canva, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Notion and Stripe. Meta directs users to the Muse app’s settings for the available connector list and says more integrations are planned.
Custom connections and usage limits
The release also supports custom connectors for services Meta does not yet support directly. That makes the launch relevant beyond businesses already using the named integrations, although connecting a service does not by itself establish which actions the agent can reliably complete.
Muse for Small Business is free with usage limits, according to TechCrunch. Meta offers subscription plans for users who need more capacity. Its announcement describes the underlying Muse personal agent as available in the United States and Canada.
The concrete change is a broader set of business connections inside an existing agent, rather than a separate chatbot for each application. Meta’s examples and early customer testimonials describe intended uses; they do not establish independently measured time savings or business results. Owners evaluating the release will need to check the connectors and usage allowances available to their accounts.
