Zerohash Launches AUTH for Linked-Account Crypto Transfers
Zerohash launched AUTH on October 19, an account-linking service that lets users move digital assets between connected accounts without manually copying wallet addresses or choosing a blockchain network. The product covers custodial accounts, such as exchange accounts, and self-custody wallets.
The change targets a familiar source of transfer friction: users typically need to identify a destination address and compatible network before sending funds. AUTH instead presents an account-based flow inside an integrating application's deposit or withdrawal experience.
How transfers work
According to Zerohash's developer documentation, users select a supported connection, authenticate with that provider, and grant permission to link their account. Multi-factor authentication applies when required. They then choose an available asset, review the details and authorize the transfer. Each transfer remains user-approved; linking an account is not described as blanket permission to move funds.
AUTH is embedded in two existing Zerohash products. Account Funding can accept crypto deposits that become a fiat balance, or send crypto withdrawals from a fiat balance. Crypto Transfers keeps the platform balance in crypto throughout deposits and withdrawals.
Scope and limits
Zerohash advertises more than 600 connections, spanning wallets and custodial providers. That figure is a connection count, not evidence of 600 exchange integrations or active customer deployments. Platforms configure which accounts, assets and transfer types they allow.
For developers, the practical addition is an authenticated account-selection layer over onchain movement. It removes address entry and network selection from the user-facing flow, but supported connections and platform configuration still determine what a customer can actually transfer.
